An interactive feeding time feature lets you actively participate in the daily feeding schedules at the park. The keepers recreate the bird’s natural feeding environment-greater birds of paradise feed around you and amazing flycatchers perform aerobatic as you feed them And one if the missions of the park management and the resident team of ornithologist is to breed endangered birds in captivity, in order to preserve their species. This includes the indigenous Bali myna ( Leucopsar rothschildi ) often referred to by locals as “Jalak Bali”.

Bali Bird Park plays a key role in protecting and conserving Indonesia’s endangered wildlife. The Bali Bird Park have successfully bred many species, including the rare Pesquet’s Parrot and numerous Bali Starlings. We accommodate more than 40 species of protected Indonesian birds in the park, a growing number of which are now breeding successful under the care of our staff. The staff proud of their new additions some of which can be seen in their incubators through the observation windows of laboratory and nursery building. Disinfectant footbaths are situated at every access to the park, and visitor’s arms and body are first sprayed with safe solutions by staff upon entering and leaving the park ground.
